The Kite Maker and the Whimsical Wind

High on Breezy Hill lived Master Lorenzo, an artisan whose hands crafted the most breathtaking kites in the world. His creations weren't made of ordinary paper: they were woven from vivid stained-glass silks shaped like soaring phoenixes, friendly dragons, and giant butterflies.

Every Sunday, village children raced up the grassy knoll to launch their kites into the blue. But one spring, the Whimsical Wind decided to nap inside a coastal cavern, refusing to blow even a single gust.

Days went by in dead calm. Leaves hung motionless, and Lorenzo's kites rested quietly on workshop racks. The children sat on the grass in silence, gazing at the empty sky.
